Home Group E-Mail Contact List

    Highland AA is now maintaining a separate list of one e-contact person for each group in the Birmingham Area. A way to contact all the local groups without using conventional mail or phone could be very useful. This person will be contacted when someone writes this website and has questions related to that particular group. This person should have an e-mail address or forwarding address that is not expected to be changed frequently. They should also have a printer attached to their computer. This list will also be used to send the e-contact person copies of flyers for posting as they become available. Please ask your group to appoint a person willing to be of service and use the form on the Group Sign-Up Page.

• Tuscaloosa Group Meeting Schedule and Map (last updated 8.28.02) added to the Outlying Areas page.

• Our Friday Meeting has been changed to an Open Step Study!

On Sundays there is a new ALANON meeting at 8:00.
 Please Welcome them to Highland!

• A motion to move this website to our own domain was passed on May 28, 2000 at the regular business meeting.

• Total Site redesign in September 2002.

• A mail-to link that allows a visitor to send a link to this site to a friend has been added to the bottom border of each page.

• Brand new navigation structure with flowing menu's has replaced the top level buttons.

• Adobe Acrobat formatted flyers added- print flyers for your groups bulletin board.

• An interactive random quote has been added to the bottom border of each page. Please add your favorite quote from conference approved literature!

• We are on our own domain now!

• Leaner (faster) theme implemented. Load times reduced by almost 50%!

• Current Weather Forecast Added!

• Map links to Microsoft Expedia for all groups with addresses listed have been hyperlinked. If you notice any that are not, let us know!

The screen resolution issue is resolved. 1024 X 768 remains the best looking, but 800 X by 600 will work as well. Thanks to Gary O. for spotting that!  Work to increase compatibility is ongoing, let us know what works for you!
